Default "Document not saved" "error in loading DLL"

Running Excel 2003, using a template file & have recently hit this problem.
Firstly can't save files then DLL error.
This is a template I have had no problem with before. Other users of the
same template are also recently affected.
Error in loading DLL occurs when closing (even without trying to save first).
No problem with hard disk. Is there a virus about maybe? (McAfee can't find
one!)
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
