Does anyone have any suggestions on how to set the value?
I would like to convert any number into 4 digit format. If there is a value 5 in cell A1, then it should return 0005 in cell B1 If there is a value 12 in cell A1, then it should return 0012 in cell B1 If there is a value 684 in cell A1, then it should return 0684 in cell B1 If there is a value 1365 in cell A1, then it should return 1365 in cell B1 Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any suggestions Eric |

Enter =A1 in B1 and try custom formatting column B with format code "0000"!
It is only a display mode of the numbers. If you want strings, then enter in B1 =TEXT(A1,"0000") Regards, Stefi €žEric€ť ezt Ă*rta: Does anyone have any suggestions on how to set the value?
