Nested lists in excel 2002 - newbie
Hi
I want to set up data validation for user entry. In first column there is a list of options. In column 2 I want the options to change depending on what was entered in the first column. In the third column I want the options in the list to reflect the entry in the second column. So.... column 1 options are (for e.g.) PC Hardware, Telephones, Software IF Column 1 = PC Hardware then options for column 2 list are Mouse, Keyboard, monitor If Column 1 = Telephones then options are Handset, Line, hands free kit etc If Column 2 = Monitor then options for column 3 are ROLLER, BALL, DESK etc etc Any help, thanks in advance |
