1. Try
Start|Run|"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\excel.exe" /unregserver Start|Run|"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\excel.exe" /regserver Reboot 2. If the above does not work Start|Run|appwiz.cpl Select MS Office entry Click on change Choose Repair Reboot "ohugh" wrote: I downloaded a .csv file. open downloaded .csv file
Sometimes one of these works when you're having trouble with double clicking on
the file in windows explorer: Tools|Options|General|Ignore other applications (uncheck it) --- or --- Close Excel and Windows Start Button|Run excel /unregserver then Windows Start Button|Run excel /regserver The /unregserver & /regserver stuff resets some of the windows registry to excel's factory defaults. ohugh wrote: I downloaded a .csv file.
