wrap text
i have imported Word text into an Excel cell but it does wrap throughout the
cell. Some of the text wraps correctly and some is truncated. i have set the format to "wrap", i have also set the cell width to the widest possible setting and have adjusted the height to "make fit". The number of characters does not come close to the maximum allowed by excel. any ideas? thanks for your help -- aprilshowers |
wrap text
The maximum allowed by Excel is 32767 characters in a cell and these can be
seen in the formula bar. BUT..........Excel will display or print only 1024 characters in the cell. Add an Alt + Enter linefeed every 100 characters to increase this display.
