Default Cell View Add-In for Excel 2007

How do I install Chip Pearson's Cell View xla in Excel 2007?
I have found "CellView" to be invaluable in Excel 2000/2003 but can't figure
out exactly how to install it in 2007 -

Thanks to all for all your past help

Default Cell View Add-In for Excel 2007

Hi,

I don't know if the Add-in works in 2007 but if it does here is how you
install it

1. Choose Office Button, Excel Options, Add-ins with Excel Add-ins selected
in the Manage box click Go and you will be in the old familiar dialog box...

If this helps, please check the Yes button

Cheers,
Shane Devenshire

Default Cell View Add-In for Excel 2007

Go to the source (see http://www.cpearson.com/excel/CellView.aspx)

CellView command items will appear on the Add-Ins tab of the Excel 2007
Ribbon, rather than on the View tab.

To manage your add-ins go to Office Button|Excel Options|Add-Ins and choose
Manage at the bottom... Choose Browse, locate your add-in....

Shane, Sheeloo .....CellView is really helpful and I had missed it ....
A BIG Thanks! I had Chip's Web Pages but was too dense to figure out the
"how to" but once I read & re-read your notes and "looked" then browsed for
where I had put that .xla file - Bottom Line - sometimes even those things
right in front of me ...
IT WORKED!
Thanks to both of you, ever so much
M
