Validation
 

Dear,

I need an option where in a cell if some text data is entered, it should
validate the value entered from a range of cells within the same sheet/from a
different sheet of an excel and should correct the name (if wrong) or retain
the same (if correct).

Hope my query is clear.

In detail.. I have a list of company names around 200 and when i extract
data which has company names, and paste it in a range of cells it should
validate the company names from the source and corect or retain.

Please help.

You can identify the values which are not in the list but to correct it there
should be some logic to identify the correct name...

Dear,

Is it possible to identify few text strings, check whether it is matching
with the source list and rectify the correct one if it is wrong.

Also suggest me other options if this is not possible.
