Auto Color Scheme in Excel Charts

I am looking to find what the auto color scheme is in an Excel chart.
Basically, when you select a range of data for a chart it
automatically selects a color for each line in a line graph. I, for
the sake of formatting and conditional formatting, need to know what
that order is for the first 40 colors.

I am currently using Excel 2003.

Thank you.

Auto Color Scheme in Excel Charts

Default colors for Chart Fill and Chart Lines are found in
ToolsOptionsColor

There are not 40 colors for these.........8 only for each.

The order is as shown.

Can be modified but the number cannot be increased.

I don't understand the second half of the question about why you need to
know the order.
