Auto Filter in Row dimension
 

We normally use auto filter with column in horizontal side.
Can we use the auto filter in vertical side, like filter for each row?

Autofilter will hide rows.

Maybe you can use Data|Group and Outline|Group to add outlining symbols to the
top that you can use to hide/show columns.

Not quite the same as autofiltering, but maybe it's sufficient???
