I have a list of numbers that i would like to show as percents. Lets say I have 40 and I want it to show 40% and not 4000%. How do I do that? |
percents
Hi,
1. Put 0.01 in a cell and copy it. Select your numbers and then Edit|Paste special, select multiply and click OK. 2. Format as % 3. Delete the 0.01. There are two ways:
1. Format Cells... Number Custom General% This will change the display, but not the value 2. divide the cells by 100 and then: Format Cells... Number Percentage This will change both the value and the display. -- Gary''s Student - gsnu200811 "assaf1978" wrote: Hi, I have a list of numbers that i would like to show as percents.
