Pivot Table value filter combined with Top x functionality not wor
I have a pivot table. On the row data, I am selecting a few values (instead
of all values for the rows to be displayed). However, when I do a Value Filter - Top 10 values, it clears off any of the selection I did and shows Top 10 for all the values in the row column. For example, I was selecting 2007 and 2008 as Year values on the rows to be displayed. This works fine. However, what I want to do is just show the Top 10 for those years (that I have selected). Instead, since the Top 10 feature works on the values (measures) in the pivot table, it completely ignores my values selected in the Year field and returns the Top 10 values. I can do the Top 10 first and then select the year values, but then that is not what I want to do. I want the top 10 out of those 2 years, not everything. Is there a workaround? |
