Easy question - copying worksheet and keeping formulas

Sorry I am a begginenr- I have a worksheet that has formulas. When I try to
copy this worksheet into a tab on another worksheet the values are copied but
not the formulas. What am I doing incorrectly?

Formulae do get copied when you copy a worksheet.

Can you describe the steps you perform?

Try this
Right-click on the worksheet tab, choose Move or Copy and make your choices
(Click on create a Copy).

Formulae should also be copied to the new sheet.

Do you have each workbook running in a separate instance of Excel?

If so, close one instance and open both workbooks in a single instance.
