Does Excel support Mouse over text for the cells
Hi,
I was just wondering, whether MS Excel supports Mouse over text. I tried Help and also searched in the forum, could not find any clue |

Probably not in the way you are thinking. What did you want/expect to happen
on a mouse-over? You can add comments to cells that can be set up to appear when you mouse-over the cell(s). "Gokul" wrote: Hi, I was just wondering, whether MS Excel supports Mouse over text. I tried Help and also searched in the forum, could not find any clue |

Hi,
The mouse over (probably the on mouse move event) is not supported for comments in the spreadsheet to the best of my knowledge. In general this event is triggered in Excel, under our control, only on a user form. It may be possible to fake it, but I don't know how. -- Thanks, Shane Devenshire "Gokul" wrote: Thanks. It works for me with comments inserted into a cell - Insert a comment and you
get the little red triangle indicating there is a comment. Move the mouse over the cell and the comment pops up for viewing? Just used Excel 2003 to make sure I had not once again "mis-remembered" something.
