excel application clashes
hi community
i need help to rectify this problem, whenever i click for new workbook icon at the standard toolbar, my excel shutdown and some time when i use the Edit Move and Copy ..... excel also shutdown..???? can anybody kindly tell me how to rectify this..? i had already removed office 03 and do a clean re-installation but yet the problem still exist!!!!! 10s community for any help given -- oldLearner57 |

I don't know that this will help at all to be absolutely honest, but sounds
like it may be worth a try. Once again uninstall Office 2003 - all of it. Then go to your C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE 11 folder and delete that folder (and everything under it should go, of course). Then reinstall Office 2003. I make this recommendation on the basis that perhaps uninstall isn't removing a file that is causing the problem, and that reinstalling with that file still on the hard drive is causing/allowing the installation to skip rewriting it back to the HD.
