Numbers converted to Text
I was doing work on Excel sheet having large "Number Database".
some heavy papers were placed on my keyboard causing certain keys to get pressed and some function changed all the numerical data into text. I tried to work back but failed, Interestingly, if same data is copied to another sheet, it is appearing in its original shape. Please comment. |

Hi,
You might try this. Put a 1 in a cell somewhere and copy it. Select your data and then Edit|Paste Special Select Multiply Click OK This should convert your data back to numbers.
