Cell Range Selection Color

How can I change the hi-lite color of cells when selecting a range of cells.
In my Excel 97 version when selecting a range of cells they hi-lite in black.
The new 2007 version the selected cells are hi-lited in a light blue. In some
lighting conditions this is hard to see. How can I change it to black?

Cell Range Selection Color

Hi,

This is a know issue. There are no setting inside of Excel to control this.
You may be able to tweek Window's display colors, but in Vista I haven't
been able to find anything that helps, might find something in XP.

You can add a background to your worksheet which make the highlight more
visible but I don't like it. Backgrounds don't print but you need to add
them to each sheet.
The command to do this is Page Layout, Background.

If this is helpful, please check the Yes button.
