How to stop the scroll at the end of the last entered row.

I have 2 Excel worksheets; one has 50 entries & the scrollbar stops at the
50th until I add a 51st entry; the other continues forever. The bottom is
'bottomless'. I do not know what I did to have the 1st scenario-i.e. to stop.

How to stop the scroll at the end of the last entered row.

In the worksheet with the bottomless scrolling press Ctrl + End to determine
what row Excel thinks is the last row. Then the row beneath the last row of
data and highlight all the rows to the row Excel thinks is the last row.

Right click on a selected row and select delete. Save your workbook and
press Ctrl + Home to move to the top of the worksheet. Now use either the
scroll bar to scroll to the last row or press Ctrl + END to move to the last
row.

The last row should be the last row containing data.
