Does having formula linked directly to a pivot table slow the calculations
down?

pivot tables

Hi,

The calculation of the pivot table or the calculation in the spreadsheet?
Actually, I wouldn't expect a formula linked to the pivot table to slow
things down onless there were thousands of them. But possibly if the
formulas are of the =GETPIVOTDATA type rather than =G10, this formula can
become extremely complex if you pivot table is complex, and in that case
GETPIVOTDATA could be somewhat slower.

What exactly is the formula and how many of them are their?

Thanks,
