Drop down lists

I am new to using Excel 2007. I have figured out how to create a drop down
list using Data Validation but I need help making it function the way that I
need it to in a sales order.
I created the original drop down list of "customers."
If Customer "A" is chosen on that list, I need Customer "A"s address to come
up on the sales order as well.
Can someone eplain how I would go about setting this up?

Drop down lists

I am assuming you have a table of customers, and so long as the first column
in that table of customers is the customer name then use the VLOOKUP function.
Say the address is in the 2nd column of the customer table:
=VLOOKUP(A1,custtable,2,FALSE)

Hope this helps.
