Cannot Shift Objects Off Sheet
 

OK so i know this has been posted a few times but nothing is working. I have
a file which has been made in xl 2003. There is about 400 rows, many of which
contain comments. The original problem occured in xl 2003 when using auto
filter on Column A to sort all 'Non Blanks'. The user was informed that fixed
objects would be moved, several hundred times. I fixed this by selecting each
comment and changing property to Move and Size with cellls. Now the filter
works no problem.

When this workbook is opened by users in xl 2007 however and they try to
filter non blanks on column A they get the 'Cannot Shift Objects Off Sheet'
error. My problem is that I cant have objects showing all the time as
suggested in http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...412411033.aspx
and it is realistic for me to tell users to always hit Ctrl-6 before running
the filter.

I need for them to be able to just use the filter as intended. From reading
the above problem I have diagnosed it to be caused by the fact that xl is
being told to hide rows.

Any help welcome. I dont have 2007 myself, which makes it more difficult!!
