Displaying the ruler in Excel 2000

I have Excel 2000, I need the ruler displayed so I can get the exact height
and width of a cell.

You can adjust the row height or the column width by dragging the
dividing line between two rows (or columns) in the identifier bars. If
you do this, then the height or width is shown along with the number
of pixels.

Hope this helps.

I need the RULER displayed, I need to see the inches, not pixels.
This is done in 2007 by selecting the Page layout view. I need to display it
in Excel 2000.
