converting pictures to embedded object

I have an excel file with several pictures inserted into it. Originally they
were pdf's. I was looking to convert them to embedded objects, to make them
easier to view.

When I try to open the picture in excel (x2 click) the error messege "Cannot
start the source application fpr this object" - even though I have adobe
acrobat reader. Excel recognizes it as a pdf.

The only way to convert now is to manually cut the image, paste into a
program like word, save it, and insert as an object.

Is there a quicker method? I've trying to convert it (right clicking on the
picture) with no luck

converting pictures to embedded object

K,

Can you copy the image, go to EditPaste Special and chose a different format?
