inserting rows through external data source
Hi
I'm having trouble inserting rows automatically when using the "get external data" in excel. The problem is that the data I am attempting to insert has too many rows, is there any way to insert rows through an outside text file in this way? If this needs to be done through a macro, is there any way to have the macro imported through external data in anyway? I ask this as the loading up the vb editor to import a macro and then going to run the macro has a large number of steps in it for a group of people who are relatively new to excel. any help please? even to say it isn't possible. thankyou |
