You can use the shortcut of double clicking the right-hand (or bottom) guide

To make my explanation clearer, pretend you are going to manually resize a
column with your mouse. Place your mouse in the header over the right or bottom guide line... when the cursor changes to a vertical line (for columns) or a horizontal line (for rows) with two arrows pointing in opposite directions, then double click the left mouse button. -- Rick (MVP - Excel) "Rick Rothstein" wrote in message ...
