Excel to MapPoint datamap
I wish there was a MapPoint forum, but this is the closest forum I could
find... I am trying to map data from an Excel spreadsheet. I had a list of Employees and the State they came from. I did a "count per state" and made a new list. I used that list to generate a data map in MapPoint. (so far, so good) What I can't seem to figure out is how to get the numbers for each state to display in the state, I customized the shading and everything, but unless I do a "mouse-over" the numbers don't display. What am I missing? I need to print these out with numbers. Right now, I have to copy the map into a drawing program, add a layer and enter the numbers by hand. |

There is MapPoint news group if you use a real news reader like Outlook
Express instead of the CDO interface. Set your news server to msnews.microsoft.com and download the news group news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.mappoint Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Fri, 3 Oct 2008 13:53:01 -0700, Lenore Benefield wrote: I wish there was a MapPoint forum, but this is the closest forum I could find...
