format leverage in excel
Hi, Does anyone know how you format leverage (financial leverage) in excel.
It's typically represented as 1:5 (instead of .2). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

mexcel,
There is a way to custom format a ratio, however it will be based on a hard code number format. For example, all ratios will be one to five for example (1:5). Assets: 100,000 Liab: 20,000 Ratio: (=A1/A2) 1:5 Basically, you would create a custom format. FormatCellsNumberCustom. In the Type box, place "1:"0.0. This will display 1: in front of the calculation. -- --Thomas [PBD] Working hard to make working easy. "mexcel" wrote: Hi, Does anyone know how you format leverage (financial leverage) in excel.
