Pivot Table Question
In the page area, I have a "Month Year" drop-down to select from. There are
several of the same month and year, like JUL 2006. They are all listed individually. Is there anyway to group them, so that I select it I get all orders for JUL 2006? I'm using Excel 2003. I've been digging, but can't find anything yet. Thank you. Connie |
Pivot Table Question
There are a couple possibilities.
1) The selections may have spaces before, in the middle, or after the name. 2) The selections are full dates (7/1/08, 7/4/08), formatted as month/year. Go to your data sheet, sort by date and copy and paste one on top of the rest. "Connie Martin" wrote: In the page area, I have a "Month Year" drop-down to select from. Pivot Table Question
Sean, it's the #2 scenario, but your solution didn't change anything. Connie

Pivot Table Question
In the pivot table, you can group the date field by year and month.
Then, move the year and month fields to the page area, and select from the dropdown lists Connie Martin wrote: Sean, it's the #2 scenario, but your solution didn't change anything.
