Repairing xls files
I run Office 2000 on 2 computers. I copied all files from computer a to
computer b. The Excel files in one folder in computer b (to which files from computer a were not copied) now have the xlsm extension and cannot be opened. How do I repair these files in computer b? |

An extension .xlsm usually means that the file was saved in xl2007. Are you
sure that you don't have xl2007 somewhere in that mix? Maybe you can install the xl2007 Compatibility Pack: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en Just to make sure???? Hi,
To solve your problem try going to: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/do...s/default.aspx and clicking the download button beside Office File Converter Pack Then try to open the files in Excel 2000, it should work. -- Thanks, Shane Devenshire "John47" wrote: I run Office 2000 on 2 computers.
