Excel is saying that it is not installed and that a fatal error h.
 

Everytime I try to use Excel it tells me that it is only available by CD rom,
when I click Cancel it says that a Fatal Error has occured. I have been
using Excel regularly and don't why it has suddenly started playing up. I
work from home so this is a disaster for me.
The version is Excel 2003.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

have you tried running detect & repair on the help menu?
have you tried uninstalling & reinstalling excel?
