filtering ranges
I have 3 sets of data all with different ranges. I want to compile all 3
ranges so that I have 1 list of ranges without duplicate numbers. Can this be done? For example: 5 7 8 9 12 3 6 7 9 10 4 5 8 9 and I want : 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 12 thanks, Jase |
filtering ranges
Put all the data in one contiguous range (sort or copy|paste???).
Then add a header row. Then use data|filter|advanced filter to see just the unique records. How does this work if my ranges are not consistant in the amount of data they
have? For example my ranges could go from 10 numbers to 20 numbers. "Dave Peterson" wrote: Put all the data in one contiguous range (sort or copy|paste???). Then add a header row. Once you get a giant range, it won't matter how many came from each of the other
ranges--and it won't matter how many are duplicates. Jase wrote: How does this work if my ranges are not consistant in the amount of data they have?
