spreadsheet changes font/cell fill color
 

i am using Excel 2002. as of late when i open different spreadsheets, the
color of the font and the fill color will change on all .xls spreadsheets.
on a typical day, i work with different file formats - .cvs, earlier versions
of .xls and a few 2007 spreadsheets here and there (if relevant).
