find & delete rows based on text

I have text "phone: (then a number)" and "website: (then website)" Every
phone & website is different.
I want to find these in column A and delete those rows without affect other
text in this column
How would I do that

Gord Dibben

find & delete rows based on text

Find what in column A?

All we know so far is you have data in some cells.

Maybe DataFilterAutofilter would work for you?

Dave Peterson

find & delete rows based on text

So apply data|filter|autofilter to column A.

The use a custom filter to show the rows that
begin with
phone:
OR
begin with
Website:

Then delete those visible rows.

Then remove the data|filter|autofilter
