Excel Huge File.
I have a minor problem. I use Excel 2003 and I work with a specific file that
is 40 megabyte. Everytime I open it, it takes about 1 minute to load. Apparently, the formulas and functions that are in there keep re-calculating every time I open. Is there a way I can make it spend less time during the inialization process/opening file? Thanks. |

Set/Save the book's calc mode to Manual. Open it directly.
If you are currently in an Excel session, close/save all open books first, then open a new book & switch the calc mode to Manual (or ensure that it's at Manual mode before you click File Open to open this particular book. -- Max Singapore http://savefile.com/projects/236895 Downloads:18,000 Files:359 Subscribers:56 xdemechanik --- "Dan" wrote: I have a minor problem.
