limiting text entry of columns
Is it possible for me to set-up a spreadsheet for others to use but will
limit the options of the data that they can enter (text only), so that they may only chose from a list which they can check more than one option (similar to the filter function), this would be similar to how e-cert works?? |

Data ... Validation ... List ... (List of acceptable entries separated by a
comma) ... or ... (Range containing acceptable entires ) ... Select "in cell drop down" ... Set "input" &"output" warnings as appropriate. HTH ... Thanks Ken, I got the lists to work now, i was looking in the right area but
was trying 'custom' instead of 'list'. With the lists though i can only enter one choice, is it possible to select multiple entries?? "Ken" wrote: Data ... Validation ... List ...
