Changing Source Data in a Formula
I have two templates for the costs of our business. They both contain a
sheet called Material Costs and these two sheet need to be identical. I don't want to input the same data twice so I made one of the sheets equal the contents of the other sheet (they are in different files). The sheet updates itself perfectly as a template. When I did a "save as" and renamed the files I tried doing a replace to update the sheet that is the copy with the new file name and I can't get it to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Use the Edit Links menu and Change the source. That will allow you to point
to the renamed file and Excel should do the rest "akimballsmith" wrote: I have two templates for the costs of our business.
