Cell does not expand to fit text

In Excel 2003, I've got some text formatted with "Wrap text" format. I
normally expect a cell to expand to show all the text in the cell, but Excel
only shows part of the text. When I double-click on the row separator, I
expect Excel to expand the row height to show the full text, but Excel does
not expand it sufficiently. (It stops at Row Height = 240.) I can manually
expand the row height and Excel shows a couple more lines, but then it starts
leaving blank space at the bottom, and some of the text is still not shown.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

How much text?

Excel will allow 32767 characters in a cell but display only 1024.

Add an Alt + Enter linefeed every 100 chars to expand this limit.
