Cell does not expand to fit text
In Excel 2003, I've got some text formatted with "Wrap text" format. I
normally expect a cell to expand to show all the text in the cell, but Excel only shows part of the text. When I double-click on the row separator, I expect Excel to expand the row height to show the full text, but Excel does not expand it sufficiently. (It stops at Row Height = 240.) I can manually expand the row height and Excel shows a couple more lines, but then it starts leaving blank space at the bottom, and some of the text is still not shown. Any suggestions? Thanks. |

How much text?
Excel will allow 32767 characters in a cell but display only 1024. Add an Alt + Enter linefeed every 100 chars to expand this limit.
