Creating a special macro

What I am wanting to do is create a macro that automatically checks names in
a spreadsheet to find out if there are duplicates. I haven't written macros
in years and especially in 07.
Can anyone help?

There is an easy way to do this in 07. You go to conditional formatting,
press highlight cells rules, and go to duplicate values. It automatically
highlights the duplicates.

Do you want to delete duplicates ?

In 2007 this is a option on the Data tab
See Remove duplicates

On all sheets in the workbook or a particular one?

By "names" do you mean noun-like names or defined names?
