need to retrieve data that was saved in error
Hi,
I have sorted data and saved the file. However I realise that there is some error in the data and need the original data as it was before sorting. Is this possible & how? |

Hi,
If all you did was sorted and saved then your orignal data are still there all you need to do is sort to display it at some convenient part of the worksheet. Without seeing your data or undestanding the data layout it's difficult to be more precise on how to do that. Mike "DD" wrote: Hi, I have sorted data and saved the file. Once saved, no unsorting can be done.
Retrieve it from your last backup? Or perhaps your IT dept makes backups once a day? Did you happen to email the file to someone in its unsorted state?
