how do i sought coloured number cells from normal ones?
i have a spread sheet and and have two different faults being assigned in a
colum and want one to be in one colour and the other in another colour i want to know how i can get a formula to keep count of how many are in each colour. |
Instead of counting colours, you can use a COUNTIF formula to count the
number of cells that meet each condition. For example: =COUNTIF($A$1:$A$21,"Fault1") sjb1981 wrote: i have a spread sheet and and have two different faults being assigned in a colum and want one to be in one colour and the other in another colour i want to know how i can get a formula to keep count of how many are in each colour. -- Debra Dalgleish Excel FAQ, Tips & Book List http://www.contextures.com/tiptech.html |
