import from Accounting 2007

Although I was able to send reports from Accounting 2007 to Excel 2007
yesterday, today I keep getting the error message, "There was a problem
starting Excel." I get the message even if I have Excel already open. Is
ther a setting somewhere that I accidentally changed?
