Fix Cell Data at End of Each Month
Fix Cell at End Of Each Month
Excel 2007 Good Evening Guys, another obscure question, help hoped. I have a Summary SS which has months across columns. A B C 1 Aug 08 Sep 08 Oct 08 2 =[Ref1.xls]Sheet1!$A$1 =[Ref1.xls]Sheet1!$A$1 =[Ref1.xls]Sheet1!$A$1 As you can see, the same cell in the Ref1 w/s is referenced each month. My question is, eg in A2, is there a way to automatically fix the value in the cell (ie so it is no longer formulaic), once that month is over. I hope I have explained this well enough. Thank you Mathew |

Highlight column A by clicking on the A at the very top of the column
(the column identifier), then <copy, then right-click and choose Paste Special | Values (check) | OK then <Enter. Hope this helps. You need to Copy A2 and PasteSpecial (right click cell after copy) back to
the same cell. Use pastespecial option VALUE. "Mathew P Bennett" wrote: Fix Cell at End Of Each Month Excel 2007 Good Evening Guys, another obscure question, help hoped.
