Formula displays instead of text result
Hi, I'm trying to change my formula
[=IF(AB291%,"A",IF(AB281%,"B",IF(AB271%,"C",IF(A B255%,"D",IF(AB2<55%,"F")))))], which works fine, but whenever I make any change or create the formula in another cell, only the formula appears, not the result. The result should be text, either "A," "B," "C," "D," or "F." I wanted to use 91.9%, 81.9%, etc. in revising my formula. I am using Excel 2007. -- emprof |

Change the formatting of the cell from text to general. Select the cell, hit
F2 to enter edit mode and the hit enter to commit the formula... -- HTH...
