Excel 2002: Can I customise the file recovery?
Hi,
Quite frequently while working on Excel worrksheet, I encounter problem and Excel needs to be closed. Thanks to the feature that enable automatic recovery of the half done files, however I noticed that too many files are recovered back instead of only the current files in the active window. Some files even dated back up to 3 or 4 days. These files are saved earlier on when the Excel works normally. I feel that the Excel need not recover those files. May I know if I could customized Excel for it to recover only the active files affected during a crash? Thanks Low Thanks Low -- A36B58K641 |

Maybe...Kind of...
You can tell excel to ignore workbooks you want ignored. Activate the workbook that should be ignored tools|Options|save tab|check "disable autorecovery" This is a workbook by workbook setting.
