Spell check giving "formula too long" - doesn't make corrections
I am forced to use Excel as a word processor. Is there a character limit in
which spell check will function properly? |
Spell check giving "formula too long" - doesn't make corrections
In Excel 2003 there is a limit of 1024 characters in a formula. It's
something like 8192 in 2007. You could be hitting that. Also in 2003 there are even problems displaying that number of characters in a single cell without some trickery. Hi Jim
If you are wanting to handle large amounts of text in a cell, you may well find peter Grebenik's add-in useful. It can be downloaded at http://excelusergroup.org/media/p/2362.aspx -- Regards Roger Govier "JIM" wrote in message ... I am forced to use Excel as a word processor.
