when i copied text to excel 2007, how do i convert it to number
 

when I was using excel 2003, i did not have the problem as the text would
automatically convert to number. Now I discover that if the range of number
is from 1 to 12345, then 1 would have 4 blank spaces in front of it and I
have to manually remove the blank spaces for it to be recognized as a number.
