Yes, but instead of doing a <paste you would move your cursor to
where you want the copied data to start (which must not overlap the
row you have just selected and <copied), and then use Edit | Paste
Special | Transpose (check) then OK and <Esc.

Select the row to copy
Copy it

Select the top cell of the column to paste
edit|paste special|check Transpose and ok

The row and the column can't overlap. So you may want to limit your copied
range to just the cells you need (like columns A:E...)

Copy the row and then right click at the starting cell in the column you want
to place the row in and select PASTE SPECIAL from the shortcut menu.

Locate the TRANSPOSE check box and click to turn on, click OK to exit to the
workbook
