Create a Class Schedule

I work at a community college. We have our class schedule in Excel - Day of
Week start and end time of class and room #. How can I take that info and
turn it into a "block chart" where there's a column for each day of the week
and there is a "block" for each class with the course title? Any suggestions
are welcome.

Create a Class Schedule

I am not sure what you mean by "Block Chart", but this is what I use to
schedule meetings Monday thru Friday from 10 am to 4pm in 3 different
conference rooms.

Start with the days of the week going down Column B in rows 3 thru 10
(Monday in B3, Tuesday in B4, etc).

The time going across Row 2 in Columns C thru I for 10 am thru 4pm (10am in
C2, 11am in D2, etc)

Then, assuming Accounting meets on Monday at 10am and goes to 12pm, put the
department name and room # in C3 and then Merge C3 thru E3.

Of course adjust this to your specifications (include weekends, 1/2 hour
increments instead of whole hour, etc)
