dynamic formulas
Hi!
I have an Exel spreadsheet where the charts work dynamicaly. Every time data is entered into successive cells the chart will fully expand to reflect the data entered. Next to each cell of data, there are two formulas. One to calculate the deviation from the nominal dimension, and wheather that dimension passed or failed. Is there any way to have these formulas work dynamically so that everytime data is entered into a cell, the formulas will be entered into the adjacent cells? Cal |
Cal,
Depending on your version of Excel, you may have "Extend lists and formulas" in Tools - Options - Edit. It may do what you want. -- Earl Kiosterud mvpearl omitthisword at verizon period net ------------------------------------------- "Cal@tech-etch" wrote in message ... Hi!
