Just recently, when typing a number in any cell of the spreadsheet the format
of the number typed changes. Example (3312 changes to 3.312E-297) when I move to another cell. |

Choose Format Cells , select Number type for all cells you are having trouble
with. "Rubie" wrote: Just recently, when typing a number in any cell of the spreadsheet the format of the number typed changes. Example (3312 changes to 3.312E-297) when I move to another cell. |

Thanks for your reply Sheeloo. Tried that and the numbers changed to zeros.
All of the cells on the entire spreadsheet change the number. If I open a new spreadsheet or a spreadsheet that was created before this one the number also changes. Not sure if it's associated with the conditional formatting that I put in for changing the color of a cell or if it's associated with the import from a SQL database. You don't want it at 300.
Best to just uncheck "Fixed Decimals". Gord On Tue, 26 Aug 2008 11:11:01 -0700, Rubie wrote: Thanks Gord, I went to Fixed Decimal and it's already set at 300.
