Keeping source formatting from a referenced cell.
I have a report that I reference definitions from a different worksheet
within the report. On the definition sheet, I have the word being defined in bold and the actual definition non-bold. However when I reference it from another worksheet excel only allows me to have it all bold or no bold. I've tried to "keep source formatting" to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. |
Keeping source formatting from a referenced cell.
Formulas return values--not formats.
Can you copy and paste instead? Nelson B. wrote: I have a report that I reference definitions from a different worksheet within the report. I could, but I have many reports referencing these definitions, and my hope
was to be able to make one change and have all the other reports update. Copying and pasting is certainly a possibility, but more time consuming. Thanks for the reply.
